By Rona Bartolini |

The Volunteers of Angat Pilipinas Coalition for Financial Literacy Inc.  went to the recently held Money Summit & Wealth Expo 2015 which happened on July 17-18 at the SMX Aura, BGC.

Volunteers were given a free VIP Pass to the 2-day event but the lessons we learned are priceless!

Here are the personal testimonies and epiphanies of Angat Pilipinas Volunteers who went and experienced the event firsthand:

I’ve heard about the Money Summit before but perhaps it was fate that made me attend this year’s summit.

I was surprised to see a friend from Midas Business Academy and FBS. I discovered that a co-founder of Midas is also the Marketing Director of Regina Online Investments. I think my “Aha!” moment is that the world of Financial Literacy in the Philippines is becoming smaller–groups are getting more interconnected by helping promote each others’ businesses and advocacies. I love seeing this because Pinoys uniting this way, the “Bayanihan” way, adds meaning to pursuing the goal: that all Filipinos will become financially literate and eventually financially free!

We would like to thank the kindness and generosity of Mr. Heinz Bulos, President and Founder of Learning Curve Inc. without whom we cannot be able to attend the Money Summit for free 🙂

Thank you too, Burn Gutierrez for your support-that-knows-no-geographical-boundaries to Angat Pilipinas! You are a blessing to us and millions of Pinoys in the world!

We look forward to next year’s Money Summit & Wealth Expo!

Here are other photos that highlight the event.
